Clifford Hospital has submitted hundreds of scientific researches during the period from 2003 to 2014. Most of them have been successfully approved by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China; Traditional Chinese Medicine Bureau of Guangdong Province, Health Department of Guangdong Province, Science and Technology Bureau of Panyu District, Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. There are three scientific researches at the provincial level. Accumulative research funds have reached up to several million Yuan (RMB).

All scientific researches aim to study a treatment model that combines treatment techniques of Traditional Chinese Medicine, hyperthermia and medical ozone therapy. 

Clifford Hospitals’ medical staff have written and published hundreds of theses and many of them gained accolades in thesis competitions. In addition, Clifford Hospital has invested more than 10 million Yuan (RMB) in its central research lab in 2007, in compliance with JCI standard and covers an area of 600 square meters. The central lab is equipped with real-time quantitative PCR, fluorescence microscope, research-level inverted microscope, biosafety cabinet and electrophoresis system, aiming to set up a public scientific research platform for the medical staff and form a good basis for fundamental experiment and educational guidance for postgraduates.
