The Oncology center has nearly 30 professional and well-qualified medical experts, comprising of 11 chief physicians, 11 associate chief physicians, 5 attending physicians and resident physicians. Under the guidance of Dr. Pang, President of Clifford Hospital, and grounded in evidence-based medicine, Clifford Hospital Oncology Center initiated the Non-Toxic Integrative Cancer Treatment, which integrates Traditional Chinese Medicine, Western Medicine and Natural Medicine.       For over a decade, Professor Clifford L. K. Pang, MD, PhD worked on the theory and clinical practice of hyperthermia for cancer treatments. He has created an non-toxic integrative cancer treatment, combining hyperthermia with chelation, detoxification, ozone therapy, TCM, acupuncture & moxibustion, psychology, Qigong, and nutrition therapy. His publications include “A Study of Non-Toxic Integrative Cancer Treatments”, and “Non-Toxic Integrative Cancer Treatments: a New Approach for Cancer Prevention and Treatments”.

      Dr. Pang has conducted several scientific studies such as “Effects of Natural Therapies When Combined with Hyperthermia on Immune Functions of Advanced Cancer Patients”, and “Research on the Combined Application of TCM and Western Medicine in treating Mid-Stage and Late-Stage Colon Cancer”. His research findings have been widely presented in medical conferences in China and around the world.       Professor Li Hengmou, Chief Physician, supervisor for graduate students, is a renowned TCM doctor accredited by Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, Ministry of Health and State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the People’s Republic of China. For over 40 years, He has devoted himself to oncology. His expertise is in the treatment of liver cancer, gastric cancer, colon cancer, pancreatic cancer, lung cancer and bladder cancer with TCM Immunotherapy. He has extensive knowledge and experience in strengthening the immune system of patients who have undergone cancer surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy. She was a committee member of the Chinese Medical Association, Digestive Disorder medicine and also a committee member for liver cancer research in six provinces of south central China. Her specialty focuses on digestive ailments and complicated digestive disorders. Additionally, she is proficient at the diagnoses and treatment of cancer in gastrointestinal tract, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas combining chemotherapy, radiotherapy, and interventional therapy. Over the past two years, Dr. Zhang expanded her clinical knowledge and expertise to the application of both stem cells and dendritic cells in treating tumors and hepatic diseases.

      Dr. Zhang has been involved in clinical research since 1984. She was the head researcher for 5 major provincial-level projects. Over the past decade, she managed 5 municipal-level scientific research projects. For her contribution, she received 7 top awards at the provincial-level research. She has attended domestic and overseas conferences on several occasions and published over 50 papers. Dr. Zhang is experienced in treating cancer, pain management and postoperative complications using the integration of Western Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine. Also, she has expertise in:  mammary hyperplasia, cervical erosion, atrophic gastritis, gastric ulcer, hypertension, ulcerative colitis, depression, insomnia, intractable hiccup, allergic disease, climacteric syndrome, infertility, obesity, stroke, hypertension, diabetes, cervical spondylosis, scapulohumeral periarthritis.

He effectively uses traditional Chinese medicine to prevent complications of chemotherapy and radiotherapy. He has hosted six provincial-level and published 24 academic papers, three of which are included in SCI while the other three papers were presented to international academic conferences.
