Hyperthermic Chemo-Perfusion in Advanced Gastrointestinal Tumor Therapy

Objective:To study the effects of using Infrared Ray Whole Body Hyperthermia (IR-WBH) therapy in conjunction with “Intraperitoneal Hyperthermic Chemo-perfusion” (IHCP) therapy for advanced gastrointestinal tumor.

Methods:Administer IR-WBH and IHCP therapies to advanced gastrointestinal tumor patients. Observe the patients’symptoms, vital signs, images and survival time.
Results:Complete and partial remission was 42.8% and stable rate was 31.4% in the treatment group. Lymph nodes and primary tumors also have significant findings. Survival rate has increased significantly.

Conclusion:Combining IR-WBH and IHCP therapies are effective treatment methods for advanced gastrointestinal tumor.
