Interpretation of the "Toxin Evil" of Etiology

Abstract:In this article, the “Toxin Evil” theory was interpreted as an important part of the etiology of TCM. The meaning of “Toxin Evil” and its significance in etiology of TCM was explained. The “Toxin Evil” is considered to be an individual eliological factor. Meanwhile, the characteristics of its occurrence and pahopoiesis are interpreted. “Toxin Evil” includes biological toxin evil, physical chemistry toxin evil and endogenous toxin evil. Its characteristic of occurrence is communicability. “Toxin Evil” can be combined with six exopathogens, and the development of the disease caused by it is rapid. Sometimes the occurrence is with eclipse period. The characteristic of its syndrome is that in the initial stage, the symptom is typical, and without obvious attributes of “Yin and Yang” or “Chills and Fever”. “Toxin Evil” can result in blood stasis, tumors, and sputum, etc. Different kinds of “Toxin Evil” have different influences on different organs, and the disease can be refractory with risk of recovery difficulty and massive internal damage.
