From July 10th to July 12th, 2015, the 33rd Annual Conference of the International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS) and 3rd international Oncotherm congress was held in Nidda, Germany. The conference provided a forum for researchers from around the world to exchange their ideas on the application of hyperthermia in cancer treatment. The conference attracted over 60 medical experts from Germany, Hungary, America, Canada, India, China, Japan and Korea, etc.
Professor Clifford L. K. Pang made a speech at the opening ceremony.
As the President of World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies - Specialty Committee of Natural Therapy (WFCMS-SCNT); President (2013) of International Clinical Hyperthermia Society (ICHS); President of Clifford Hospital; Professor and Advisor of doctoral candidates in Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Dr. Clifford L. K. Pang was invited to this conference.
He made a keynote speech at the opening ceremony and presented an academic report on “Clinical observation of local hyperthermia in combination with traditional Chinese medicine treating malignant seroperitoneum”. The medical experts were impressed by Prof. Clifford Pang’s research achievement. They appreciated the features of the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Hyperthermia, which achieve better clinical treatment outcomes and free of side effects; Clifford Hospital’s contribution to the research on natural medicine and integrative treatment on benign and malignant diseases.
The Director of Clifford Hospital International Natural Medicine Center, Dr. Zhang Xingting also presented an academic report “Clinical report of local hyperthermia in combination with traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine treating pelvic inflammatory disease”, which was highly praised by the participants.
These two academic reports showed the excellent treatment outcome of Non-Toxic Integrative Treatments for cancer. The conference medical experts showed a keen interest in these treatments, and eagerly viewed the brochures and folders of Clifford Hospital, which they hoped to visit and have further study at Clifford Hospital if possible.
Book sale and signing event for Prof. Pang by CRC Press
During the conference, the CRC Press held an exhibition for their latest oncology monographs and a book sale and signing event for Prof. Pang as Hyperthermia in Oncology (English edition), written by Prof. Pang, was released by the renowned CRC Press in June, 2015. Many medical experts bought the book and took a group photo with Prof. Pang.
Prof. Pang signed and left words in the Nidda’s journal, and took photo with Mayor Hans-Peter Seum (right) and participating experts.
In addition, due to Prof. Pang’s support for International Clinical Hyperthermia Society and his great contribution to regimen and integrative cancer treatment, Prof. Pang was invited to sign and leave words in Nidda’s journal by the Mayor Hans-Peter Seum, and had a group photograph taken.
