A national academic seminar on Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine in Cancer Treatment was held at Clifford Hospital on September 27, 2014. This seminar was hosted jointly by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies-Specialty Committee of Natural Therapy and Clifford Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine. Its goal was to strengthen academic exchanges and development, and to improve the clinical prevention of tumor. Leading experts experienced in applying integrative treatment of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Natural Medicine were invited to speak on the subject.
Professor Clifford L. K. Pang pointed out that Clifford Hospital had been dedicated to practicing Non-toxic Integrative Cancer Treatment since its inception. Apart from conventional treatments such as surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy and biotherapy, Clifford Hospital strives to offer more alternative treatment for cancer patients. During the seminar, experienced professors shared their advance knowledge of their relevant fields. Lectures were well-designed and informative, with primary focus on integrative cancer treatment, hyperthermia, acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Over 200 health care professionals from Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Shanxi, Nanjing, Hunan and Guangzhou, etc. participated. Keen interest in medical ozone in cancer treatment, chelation therapy and Traditional Chinese Medicine was apparent. Many expressed interest in cancer patient referral to Clifford Hospital for Non-toxic Integrative Cancer Treatment.
