In China, hospitals are classified into three tiers and ten levels according to a Hospital Grading System: tier -1( primary ), tier-2 (secondary ) and tier-3 (tertiary). Each tier is further subdivided into 3 subsidiary levels: A, B and C based on hospital service, size, management, quality, safety, facility, medical technology etc. On the tier-3, there is Top of Tertiary which is higher than level A, B and C.
